Şcoala publică, interzicerea muncii copiilor, „asigurările”, pensiile publice şi, în general, întregul sistem asistenţial de stat sunt tot atâtea bombe cu efect întârziat, plasate de body-guarzii intelectuali ai statului în mijlocul familiilor tradiţionale. Dinamica rivalitaţii politice - pentru controlul şi lărgirea creatoare a canalelor spolierii legalizate - distruge astfel copiii şi parintii deopotrivă. Public schooling, child labor laws, public insurance, pensions and the whole welfare system are time-bombs, placed by the intellectual body-guards of the state in the bosom of traditional families. The game of political competition - for the control and creative enlargement of the channels of legal spoliation - thusly destroys children and parents alike. By destroying the economic interdependencies that cement their cultural, moral and spiritual communion, it gradually reduces them to the status of mutually alien, impotent atoms. Perhaps the only socially viable strategy so far, to avoid the gradual atomization and helplessness leading to universal infeudation to the state, has been the non-violent, but firm, refusal of public "assistance", "aid", and brain-washing in any form, and the rejection of militarism even at the price of martyrdom, by the non-violent (pre-modern like, quasi-ascetic, though undoubtedly libertarian) Old Order Amish Communities. Even among rural farming families, where children still held direct economic value, the negative effect of public schooling on fertility was strong. Each additional month that children spent in a school decreased family sizein that district by 0.23 children. Indeed, we see here how state education has quite literally "consumed" children, and weakened families.
